Position Title: Supervisor of Training
Location: Albany, GA
Operating Hours: Mon-Sat 7am-7pm
Day Shift: 6:30am-3:30pm
Night Shift: 11:00am-8:30pm
Pay Range: $45K-$48K per year based on experience
Work Schedule: Full-time- 40 hours per week- 5 days per week-Shifts rotate weekly between opening and closing. (Example- Week 1: Team A opens and Team B closes; Week 2: Teams switch roles).
Job Summary:
Immunotek Plasma is seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor of Training to lead and coordinate the training and development initiatives at our Albany, GA, center. This role focuses on implementing and overseeing comprehensive training programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in conducting new hire orientation, revising SOPs, and facilitating specialized training sessions such as CAPA training and annual reviews. All personnel, including this role, participates in a weekly rotating shift schedule to maintain operational consistency.
Essential Responsibilities
- Initiate, coordinate, and oversee center-level training, including new hire orientation, SOP revisions, CAPA training, annuals, and specialized training to meet center and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and review compliance of personnel training documents with company procedures and relevant standards
- Collaborate with Center Management to design and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Manage the center's Safety Program, ensuring adherence to safety practices and training
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, creating tailored development plans in partnership with management
- Provide resources for employee success, including training materials, manuals, and guides
- Assess on-the-job performance, identify skill gaps, and develop targeted training content
- Evaluate training effectiveness through employee observations and assessments
- Oversee the selection, training, and development of the center's Designated Trainers
- Maintain and assess training records, recommending program enhancements as needed
- Develop monthly training calendars and coordinate internal and external training sessions
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the center
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a highly regulated environment preferred
- At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong ability to teach and transfer knowledge effectively
- Proven organizational and time-management skills to meet multiple deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools
Physical Requirements
- Frequent leaning, bending, stooping, and reaching above shoulders
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time)
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens
