What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Planning Coordinator position at imogene + willie?
We are seeking to hire an Inventory Planning Coordinator to work as a part of our merchandise planning team. This person will assist in the planning lifecycle of each season analyzing sales, maintaining the OTB, store allocations, etc. Working closely with our production and development team on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Run and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly selling recaps by department, having a strong understanding of product and category performance.
- Manage misc. selling recap/analysis based on needs of the business
- Organize receipts by month/department for OTB
- Update and help manage OTB on a monthly basis
- Calculate size breaks for all production orders going into work
- Create PO’s for new and repeat orders
- Update delivery needs based off of selling/company direction
- Support the management of inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels across various categories are met
- Have a full understanding of the collection and adapt with changes
- Work with the ecommerce team to ensure the site reflects the needs of business
- Bi-weekly allocate stores stock ensuring newness is delivered timely.
- Establish, maintain and support healthy and communicative relationships with our logistics, production, and development teams.
- Communicate and troubleshoot daily on all ongoing planning efforts, working across teams in problem solving.
- Assist in the implementation of a new PLM system as the company grows.
Qualifications:
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combo of education and experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in fashion planning, merchandising, or buying.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
- Must be an inspiring team player and thrive in a very fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
