Delivery driver

Job We are looking for drivers for Valentine's. Must have own vehicle, SUV or van preferred. Full day work on Feb 13 and Feb 14. Pay is $15 plus fuel.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries, utilizing GPS and maps as necessary.
• Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring items are secured for transport.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route completed.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning of the delivery vehicle.
• Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations during loading and unloading processes.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas efficiently is essential.
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and the use of delivery equipment is beneficial.
