What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Director (New York & East Coast) position at IMPACT ACOUSTIC®?
The regional sales director will play a key role in driving the further development of the local market in New York and the East Coast region in general. The ideal candidate is a hands-on but at the same time strategically thinking, versatile sales professional that equally enjoys developing end client relations up to C-level, engaging with the A&D community and ensuring the continued development of our distribution network with independent reps and partners alike.
- Key Account Management: Acquisition and development of local and global key accounts in line with Impact Acoustic’s key account strategy. Contribute to the global key account strategy and programme.
- Sales Strategy: Support the develop and implementation of local sales strategies and contribute to the global sales strategy. Ensure the implementation of the strategy while looking for new opportunities and improvements
- Independent Reps and Partner Network: increase the existing distribution network in line with our sales strategy. Monitor, manage and motivate the partner and sales network and promote continuous improvement.
- Business Development: Engage with the A&D community to promote our brand and generate new opportunities. Represent our company as an ambassador to the public, especially to architects, end client and distribution partners.
- Sales Consulting: Consult clients, external and internal partners in regards to the optimal solution for each project, specifically as to customized and bespoke project solutions.
- CRM data management: Ensure data accuracy in our CRM on all levels. Generate CRM data and monthly sales reports to oversee the performance of the global partner network and to facilitate accurate sales forecasts and reporting.
- University degree in marketing/sales, business management or similar, or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience (min. 3 years) in different sales functions
- Pronounced strengths in sales management, specifically in business development, working in an indirect as well as direct distribution set up. Proven success in building a sales pipeline and generating new business opportunities.
- Strong project management skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate and operate in a dynamic and international environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning technology tools.
