Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician for a 8-11 Month Contract opportunity. Position Description Responsible for methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES : Performs a substantial variety of moderately complex to highly complex inspection tasks using standard and / or non-standard procedures, gauges, tools, and equipment. Performs packaging line, incoming, and / or manufacturing inspections of mechanical and electro / mechanical products and / or component parts. Ensures that raw materials, in process, and / or finished products or components meet company and FDA standards.Trains others on inspection techniques and procedures. Works from engineering schematics or blueprints to perform accurate checks and tests. Complies with documentation and FDA procedures and policies.REQUIREMENTSMinimum of 2 years in a quality or inspection role for electro mechanical devices. Medical Device is preferred. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Excellent technical writing skills High level of attention to detail and organization Ability to multi-task and work independently Ability to participate in cross-functional teams Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and other technical specifications preferred Knowledge of Quality Concepts (, CAPA, Audits, Statistics)
