Key Responsibilities
As the EHS Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and sustaining a strong safety culture. Your main responsibilities include :
- Developing, implementing, and enforcing EHS policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conducting hands-on safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments on the plant floor to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Partnering with employees and leadership to build trust and foster a proactive safety culture.
- Leading and mentoring a small team of EHS staff
- Investigating incidents, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborating with HR, operations, and plant management to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
