Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking dedicated and skilled Maintenance Electricians to join their team on 2nd or 3rd shift . This direct hire opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Responsibilities :
Adhere to IATF16949 and ISO14001 work instructions and training requirements.
Read, interpret, and follow job-related work instructions and safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
Troubleshoot and repair :
Electric motors (excluding stator and armature rewinding).
Ajax Induction Furnaces, ACS Osborn Mold Unit, Sand Systems, and other production equipment.
Electric overhead cranes and hoists (mechanical and electrical repairs, excluding welding).
Low-voltage and voltage controls up to 480 volts.
Perform conduit runs and electrical cabinet layouts.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
Utilize Allen Bradley Rockwell Software (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, RS Linx) and work with PLC-5 and SLC500 hardware.
Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, shot-blasting equipment, and other associated systems.
Maintain basic computer skills for work order entry and completion.
Obtain and utilize forklift, articulating boom lift, and scissor lift licenses (training provided).
Provide and maintain personal hand tools.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum Experience : 6 years in manufacturing or a similar industrial setting; journeyman status preferred.
Education : High school diploma or GED.
Proficient in low-voltage and voltage controls up to 480 volts.
Strong understanding of PLC controls.
Knowledge of electronic instrumentation such as :
Temperature controllers.
Chart recorders.
I / P and P / I converters.
Variable frequency drives.
Basic computer literacy for managing work orders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Allen Bradley Rockwell Software and industrial PLC systems.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex industrial equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
