Our client, a food manufacturer in Kansas City, KS, is actively looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for a 12 month contract position!
2nd shift opening. Will train on 1st shift for the first couple weeks.
1:30pm-10:30pm Mon-Fri.
Position overview:
- Supervise a group of 10-15 maintenance technicians in a manufacturing facility
- Provide leadership to the assigned crew to ensure the plant's safety and GMP policies are followed and that the crew executes work plans as directed.
- Integral member of the maintenance team that will be responsible for updating preventative maintenance programs and improving the asset care plans for plant equipment.
Skills required:
- Technical - Mechanical or electrical training
- Supervisory/Leadership training or experience
- Manufacturing - troubleshooting machinery
- Computer Skills - CMMS - Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Microsoft Office Suite
Experience required:
- 2 -Years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Education Required:
- High School Diploma with some technical training in maintenance/engineering field.
- Union- Journeyman experience preferred
