Standard hours during training are Monday - Friday with 7 : 30am start. After training, hours will be 5 : 30am - 4 : 00pm Monday - Thursday. This role will REQUIRE individual to be flexible and available for overtime.
Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
- Perform incoming inspection per inspection plan requirements
- Perform the acceptance of finished devices as the final quality release
- Prioritize multiple product lines of varying speeds and volumes to ensure a steady flow of released material.
- Maintain compliance in a highly regulated environment for Class III medical devices following good documentation practices (GDP)
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Identify, tag, and physically segregate non-conforming material
- Create non-conformance records (NCs) for rejected material
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) minimum - ideally AS degree or some college desired
- Basic to advanced PC and Computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excell)
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to lift 35 pounds and more with assistance, requiring dexterity
- VISUAL DEMANDS : Near acuity : ability to see at 20 inches or more, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Job demands include prolonged sitting / standing / walking
- Must be able to show a history of on time reliability and work commitment
