Middle School Classroom TEACHER
The middle school classroom teacher plans, organizes, and delivers lessons consistent with the middle school education curriculum. The teacher explains complex concepts simply, and enriches classroom time by using a variety of instructional methods. Classroom Teachers encourage students to be curious and to have respect for the world and all that God has created.
Required Education :
- Have obtained a Bachelors degree
- Preference is given to candidates with state-level teacher certification
Required Spiritual Qualifications
All faculty and staff shall :
Have received Jesus Christ as his / her SaviorBelieve that the Bible is Gods Word and standard for faith and daily livingBe in agreement with schools Doctrinal Statement and Christian philosophy of educationBe a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others. This includes being committed to Gods Biblical standards for sexual conduct (Luke 6 : 40)Be a member in good standing at a local church that has a Statement of Faith in significant agreement with the schools Statement of FaithShow by example the importance of Scripture study and memorization, prayer, witnessing, and unity in the Body of ChristHave the spiritual maturity, academic ability, and personal leadership qualities to train up a child in the way he should goOther Required Qualifications

Recognize the role of parents as primarily responsible before God for their childrens education and be prepared to assist them in that taskPlace his / her teaching ministry ahead of other jobs or volunteer activitiesDemonstrate a love of children and heart to serve othersMaintain a professional demeanor and appearanceRespectfully submit and be loyal to authorityRefuse to use or circulate confidential information inappropriatelyAvoid gossip and practice Biblical conflict resolution (Matthew 18)Essential Job Functions
Classroom Teachers shall :
Reflect on the purpose of the school, which is using excellent education to support parents in their task of bringing up children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord Jesus Christ.Motivate students to accept Gods gift of salvation and help them grow in their faith through their witness and Christian role modelingLead students to a realization of their self-worth in ChristIntegrate Biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum and activitiesKeep proper discipline in the classrooms and on the school premises to promote a healthy learning environmentPlan a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interest and abilities of the students, challenging each to do his / her bestWork with the Special Education coordinator to meet the needs of all students through use of appropriate accommodations and other appropriate modificationsUtilize valid teaching techniques to achieve curriculum goals within the framework of the schools philosophyAssess the learning of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as requiredMaintain regular and accurate attendance and grade records to meet demands for a comprehensive knowledge of each students progressHelp prepare / set up classrooms and learning spaces prior to the first day of schoolSet up classroom or equipment as needed prior to classEstablish and enforce rules of conduct for activities; teach safety skillsAdapt activities to students special needs; develop appropriate modifications when requiredMonitor use and care of equipment, materials, and facilitiesApplication Instructions
