As our Field Service Technician, you will support customers within North America, Mexico and Canada to provide proactive and reactive equipment servicing out in the field. As a field service technician, you will travel to our customers location to install and/or troubleshoot equipment, respond to service requests, and provide technical training when needed.
What You'll Do:
We are seeking a dynamic individual who has a minimum of a Highschool Diploma or GED with 2 years of proven experience in a similar position. Strategic thinking and the ability to build relationships are key to this role. What matters most is your capability to have strong communication skills to explain technical information to customers in clear terms while providing strong customer service and time management skills. As our Field Service Technician, you will support customers within North America, Mexico and Canada to provide proactive and reactive equipment servicing out in the field. What You'll Do:
- Ensuring on-site service requests (national/international) are resolved timely.
- Periodically being on stand-by in case of service provision outside of office hours
- Provide service coordinators with adequate customer visit feedback
- Documenting installation and repairs
- Responsible for preventative maintenance
- Inspecting and supervising delivered products
- Provide emergency repair and trouble shooting
- Provide customers and/or operators with (on-site) training
- Advise on spare parts and inventory checks
- Turning complaints into structural product improvements
- Maintain quality of performance and safety at customer sites
- Builds and maintains customer relationships with high quality customer service
