Job Summary:
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the success of our facility. This role is integral in managing various operational functions and ensuring that processes are running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional who excels in handling multiple responsibilities and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and utilize ERP systems for daily operations and provide training and support to team members on these systems.
- Support key administrative functions including handling correspondence, reports, and confidential documents. Assist with employee onboarding and ensure accurate timecard management.
- Assist in administering safety programs, managing safety reports, and coordinating training initiatives with the safety team.
- Perform ERP transactions, support plant-wide initiatives, and assist in various plant activities.
- Organize and maintain records, including purchase orders, inventory control, and capital expenditure tracking.
- Conduct time studies, support maintenance and reliability efforts, and analyze quality data to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to various company projects and internal communications, supporting overall operational objectives.
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in a related field is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience in administrative or operations roles, with a background in customer service and bookkeeping preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with IQMS is a plus) and a good understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
- Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to achieving results with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in safety programs and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is a plus.
