Job Summary
A welder performs general welding assignments for any/all areas of the plant in order to support the production goals.
Requirements
- Use electric power tools and equipment of all types.
- Accurately read a tape measure.
- Perform and remember how to perform multiple tasks from day to day.
- Weld on a flat, curved or vertical surface.
- Ability to set a welding machine, including the gas, volts, amps, and wire speed.
- Ability to weld in a variety of positions.
- Be able to make minor adjustments to the welding equipment as needed.
