The ESAM Director of Operations manages the daily operational activities of the company. They must excel at delegating tasks through exceptional communications skills. The Director of Operations will oversee manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering. They must be able to plan and guide overall operational activities while meeting ESAM's realization goals. The Director must be an excellent leader who can execute the most efficient ways to run the business. This includes monitoring productivity, quality, on time delivery performance and establish monitoring methods to report performance. The Director of Operations interfaces with customers as needed.
Requirements:
- Multifunctional position that requires collaboration with upper management and/or department managers to make decisions for operational activities.
- Plan and monitor the day to day operation of the business to ensure smooth progress in relation to the quality of product.
- Oversees and ensures all manufacturing departments are working efficiently and effectively.
- Responsible for all Manufacturing policies and procedures; updating when necessary.
- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of company business procedures according to company objectives and make recommendations for improvements
- Coordinate material allocation based on customer needs and priorities.
- Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.
- Evaluate overall performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Ensures the company runs legally and conforms to established regulations; terms and conditions.
- Review monthly sales plan and head count requirements to ensure proper staffing.
- Ability to work productively under tight timelines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to prioritize and perform multi-level tasks.
- Must display leadership abilities and work well with others.
- In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service, etc.
- Knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Objectively make decisions and recommendations regarding product.
- Perform special assignments and other duties as required.

- Conduct thorough and timely reviews
- Ensure department area is FOD free.
- Understand, embrace, and ensure compliance to ESAM's safety policies and procedures.
- Train, direct and motivate employees.
- Creates department efficiencies and brings ideas to senior management.
