We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Alarm System Technician to join our team at {company}.
Job Summary
This position reports to the Fire Alarm Manager or their designated Agent. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing inspections, installations, and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and service fire alarm systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Manage time effectively to complete maximum service, inspection, and installation calls while maintaining high quality standards.
- Achieve weekly productivity goals assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or designated Agent.
- Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain necessary state licensing.
- Protect and maintain company equipment, adhering to safety procedures including driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.
- Maintain vehicle in accordance with company procedures, ensuring it is clean and organized.
Requirements:
- Texas Fire Alarm License required.
- Applicable licensing and certification as per National, State, and Local codes.
- Ability to learn installation, inspection, and servicing codes.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Perform physical activities outlined in the accompanying physical requirements checklist.
- Strong work ethic and professional appearance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and procedures.
