We pride ourselves on producing designs that result in a superior product, saving our clients time and money during the design, procurement, and installation phases of their sprinkler projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in fire sprinkler design and be able to work accurately and efficiently to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems
- Design new fire sprinkler systems from the ground up
- Run hydraulic calculations
- Produce accurate stocklists
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of NFPA 13
- 2-4 years of fire sprinkler design experience
- Experience with general submittal procedures to AHJ
- NICET certification or ability to obtain within 2 years
PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
- 5 to 7 years of fire sprinkler design experience using computer-based software
- Experienced in the design of Fire Pumps, Standpipe systems, and storage occupancies
- 3D modeling and ability to coordinate system piping with other building trades
- NICET Level 2 or 3 in Water-Based Systems Layout
- Special Hazards and/or Fire Alarm design a plus
