Impact Floors is searching for a Granite Polisher for our granite and stone countertop fabrication department. In this position you will ensure material is handled and polished in a timely manner while adhering to the strictest safety guidelines. The Granite Polisher is expected to uphold Impact Floors best practices that ensure meeting management and customer expectations. Duties/Responsibilities

- Trim, scrape or polish countertops or parts, using hand grinders and equipment
- Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimensions.
- Operate fabrication machinery to router or polish counter top edges

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.
- Aptitude towards equipment operation and trouble shooting.
- Excellent product knowledge.
- Strong Organizational skills.
- Ability to stay focused for long periods of time.
- Familiarity with common material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
Education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Countertop Industry knowledge is a plus

Physical demands
