IMPACT Group, a career transition firm specializing in global relocation, outplacement, and talent development has an opening for a part-time Executive level career coach based in St. Louis, MO. This is a part-time, remote (work-from-home) position, approximately 15 hours a week.
The Executive Career Coach works in a 1:1 capacity with the former executive-level employees of our client companies following the IMPACT Group technology-based outplacement coaching process and methodology. This outplacement coach is responsible for providing effective career development and job search coaching to IMPACT Group’s executive outplacement candidates on an individual basis.
- Establishes rapport with employees and motivates them to achieve goals
- Guides employees through the coaching process and milestone completion
- Advises and coaches individual outplacement candidates on career development, transition issues, and career options
- Coaches candidates on résumé writing, effective marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiating
- Maintains electronic service delivery record for each candidate serviced, according to the internal guide
- Monitors the progress of candidates, consults with them on specific subjects to improve their job search skills and knowledge, and deals with personal issues that are affecting their careers
- Reports on candidates’ progress to Coaching Excellence Team Manager and advises regarding suggested changes or modifications to programs
This role can be based in these states only: IL (near St. Louis) and MO
Requirements:
- Minimum five years of experience in the delivery of career coaching to executives in various industries. Experience coaching executives in job search. Experience with executive resume development, interview preparation, career exploration, LinkedIn profiles, and other aspects of job search coaching
- Very strong verbal / written communication skills
- Experience with virtual coaching, using Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Savvy with technology
- High-speed internet connection on a personal computer; a headset with a microphone will be required (remote/work-from-home)
- Bachelor's degree
- Must have significant, high-level business experience working at the Director level or above for at least five years
