Position & Compensation Details
Position : ICU RN- Full Time
Start Date : ASAP (Flexible with start dates)
Hours : 36 / wk (3x12)
Shift : 7a-7p
Salary : $32-$53 / hr depending on experience ($60k / yr-$99k / yr)
Sign on Bonus : Varies depending on experience
If this role is for you, you would be responsible for :
Coordinating the delivery of nursing care for critically ill, post-operative, ventilator, post cardiac arrest, post heart cath, hemodynamic stabilization, and other critically ill patients in the ICU.
Quickly and accurately assessing patient care needs
- Diagnosing and developing treatment plans collaboratively with doctors and staff
- Completing paperwork and patient charting.
- Managing multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs continually
- Using strategies and available resources for problem-solving for patients, family and staff
- Delegating tasks and care to appropriate staff and ensuring timely follow-up
- Facilitating learning for patients and families, nursing staff, other members of the health care team and community; integrating appropriate education throughout the continuum of care to help them participate and / or make informed conclusions about their health care and treatments
- Preserving and protecting the confidentiality, autonomy, dignity and rights of patients and family, and representing their concerns.
- Participates in quality / performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Education Required :
1 year(s) of ICU RN experience required
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
Unencumbered Texas or Compact RN license required
Nicotine Free
