We are looking for a Caregiver to join our team and provide compassionate care to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals, as well as a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. The Caregiver will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and ensuring that the client's needs are met in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities: - Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes or assisted living facilities - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Monitor and manage behavior for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments - medication reminders and assist with medical appointments as needed - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding - Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients - Document client care activities and communicate with healthcare professionals as necessary Experience: - Previous experience in senior care, patient care, or assisted living is preferred - Knowledge of dementia care and behavior management techniques is a plus - Familiarity with nursing home, home care, or hospice care settings is beneficial - Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining dignity and privacy Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
