SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Manufacturing Reliability Engineer is responsible for analyzing and improving the reliability of machinery and production processes within a manufacturing facility by identifying potential failure points, implementing preventative maintenance strategies, conducting failure analysis, and developing systems to minimize downtime and maximize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), ultimately ensuring efficient production and minimizing costs associated with equipment failures. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence by driving improvements in equipment reliability, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing facility.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lean and Continuous Improvement :
- Lead and facilitate lean improvement projects across various departments.
- Conduct lean training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels.
- Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement lean tools and techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Standard Work.
- Collaborate with team members to develop, train, and implement solutions.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Lean manufacturing coordination and implementation.
