Part-time HR Assistant/Consultant
Job Description
Are you someone with practical HR experience who's seeking an alternative to the traditional 9 to 5 office job? If so, this opportunity could be a great fit for you. It's a part-time role ( -20 hours per week), based from home, where you'll handle day-to-day HR tasks for our client companies. While occasional onsite visits to client locations in Salt Lake and Utah Counties are required, the position offers exceptional flexibility.
Salary: $20.00-30.00 Hourly
Expectations
- Collect data through active listening to management, observing the existing culture, and conducting periodic employee surveys; analyze this information to form perspectives and glean insights.
- Collaborate with the client on critical employment decisions within the business.
- Serve as a voice of logic, impartiality, and expertise, providing guidance to management on human and social capital needs within client companies.
- Foster a positive and equitable client/consultant partnership; manage the needs of multiple clients within a sustainable service framework.
Desired Outcomes
- Ensure assigned clients are meeting established thresholds for regulatory compliance by implementing and updating handbooks and policies, providing adequate training and making prudent employment decisions.
- Assist the client company in becoming more profitable by improving human resources processes and procedures and becoming a strong voice of advocacy for both sides of the employer/employee relationship.
Qualifications
- Prior practical HR experience required; multi-state employment compliance a plus
- Prior payroll experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- The ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align HR practices with business goals.
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing environments.
- Desire and ability to leverage technology to the fullest
