We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Counselor to join our dynamic team, providing crucial support across our women's recovery program in Seaford, as well as in outpatient settings. - Outpatient Services
- 40-hours per week
- Provide individual and group counseling services to participants in our men's and women's programs, adhering to established treatment plans and ethical standards
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to assist in the development and adjustment of treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and support to participants
- Document and maintain accurate records of participants' progress and services provided, in compliance with legal and organizational requirements
- Actively participate in supervision with a licensed clinician and engage in ongoing professional development
- Utilize evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery and promote healthy lifestyles among participants
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required
- Certification as a CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) or CAADC (Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor) strongly preferred
- Must be actively working towards professional licensure in the field of mental health or substance abuse counseling
- Previous experience in a counseling role within a healthcare or recovery setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to empathize and effectively manage complex emotional situations
