Impact Media is a fast-growing digital marketing agency and production company based in both Huntington, West Virginia and Montreal, Canada, developing engaging creatives and campaigns to scale purpose-driven brands. We focus on video production, content creation, social media management, website development, and media buying.
Role & Responsibilities
- Edit raw video content captured by our production team for a range of platforms, including social media, websites, advertisements, and presentations (proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects preferred)
- Strong eye and ear for visual storytelling and using video to tell powerful stories that make an impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project objectives, audience, and brand messaging.
- Assemble raw footage into high-quality videos, ensuring a cohesive narrative, innovative style and professional finish.
- Incorporate feedback to finalize video projects that align with client goals and brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in video editing, post-production techniques, and tools.
- Manage multiple projects with strict deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Assist in audio editing, color grading, and motion graphics integration when necessary.
- Experience in editing both commercial-grade/documentary post-productions and cutting-edge, engaging social media content informed by ongoing trends is a plus.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of video editing experience.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your work in video editing across various platforms and formats.
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for web and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of sound editing, color correction, and visual effects integration.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and use/learn our project management tool, ClickUp.
Bonus Skill Sets:
- Videography: Possibility to join our production team on certain projects when needed (not required).
- Photography: Possibility to join our production team on certain projects when needed (not required).
- Experience in motion graphics, graphic design, and/or animation (e.g., After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
- Proficiency in audio editing tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with color grading tools and techniques (e.g., DaVinci Resolve).
- Solid eye for color theory, typography, and visual aesthetics.

Salary Range
Part-time: 18k–20k
Full-time: 36k–40k
Subject To Skills Test
Applicants may be required to complete a brief competency test to assess their skill set and suitability for the role. We will compensate you for this work at an agreed-upon rate.
