Job Title: 2nd Grade Teacher
Location: Impact Preparatory Christian Academy, Clemmons NC

Position Overview:
Impact Preparatory Christian Academy is a Christ-centered educational community committed to nurturing students academically, spiritually, and socially. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 2nd Grade Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a love for learning, model Christian values, and create a nurturing classroom environment where students thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and academic standards, integrating biblical principles throughout all subjects.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, curiosity, and collaboration.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs, including differentiated instruction.
• Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, maintaining accurate records and communicating results with parents and administration.
• Foster spiritual growth by leading daily devotions, prayer, and incorporating biblical teachings into lessons.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support the holistic development of students.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to school-wide activities and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification for elementary education.
• Previous experience teaching in a Christian school setting preferred.
• Strong commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the school’s mission and values.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to integrate faith and learning effectively.
• Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
