The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
- Designing schematics for electrical control panels 99% of the time
- Designing custom machinery
- Designing alternative and/or replacement parts for existing equipment
- Aiding in the development of the generation of controls from the ground floor
- Participating in the design of electrical systems and control systems
- Verifying customer specifications are met in the designs produced
- Verifying designs meet codes, regulations and best practices
- Working with purchasing for part availability and cost
The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:
- A 4 year degree in electrical engineering
- 2 years of electrical engineering experience (SolidWorks Electrical is preferred)
- 2 years of experience designing schematics for electrical control panels
- Familiarity with current electrical engineering trends
- An innovative mindset
- A solid work history
- A US citizen or possess a green card
- A residence within 45 minutes
