Attorney - Defense Litigation

Our client, an Austin based law firm, specializing in products liability, personal injury, construction litigation, insurance defense, and medical malpractice is looking for an experienced Attorney to join their team. The firm is an ideal place to hone your skills as a litigator and courtroom lawyer.

The successful candidates will work closely with partners and senior attorneys to handle a diverse caseload spanning defense construction and civil litigation matters. Responsibilities:
• Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and tactics.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Attend networking events.


Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas
• 2-5 years of experience practicing law
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
• Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Licensure in Texas
• Comfortable conducting and defending depositions
