What You’ll Do:
- This is a new role. Exciting to build a new department with leadership. Develop policies, standards, and still participate in projects from concept to commissioning for customers.
- Lead a team to design, build, and implement advanced automated systems, including PLC and HMI programming.
- Oversee project schedules, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain automation software standards while troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Collaborate with senior management to influence corporate policy and strategic goals.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related field) and 7–10 years of experience in electrical design or automation.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems (e.g., Rockwell ControlLogix, Fisher Roc), and a strong understanding of electrical design.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage teams, deliver results, and maintain client satisfaction.
- Adaptability: Willingness to travel 50% domestically and internationally (North America).

Our client will consider a candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, the salaries of current employees in similar roles, and other factors when extending an offer.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
