Banking-related/Foreclosure Staff Attorney

Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Maine required; admission or eligibility for waiver to the Massachusetts bar is desirable.
- 2–4 years of substantive experience representing lenders in real estate/title and mortgage foreclosure actions in Maine and Massachusetts.
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a commitment to team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent lenders in mortgage foreclosure actions, managing all aspects of cases from inception to resolution.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Maine and Massachusetts foreclosure processes.
- Communicate directly with clients to provide updates, address inquiries, and deliver strategic legal advice.
- Draft legal documents, conduct legal research, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with firm attorneys on complex cases and provide support to the broader litigation team.
