A dynamic litigation team is seeking a mid-level associate (2–5 years) to join its Business Litigation practice in Wilmington, Delaware. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex litigation matters with a focus on Delaware courts, particularly the Court of Chancery, Superior Court, and the District of Delaware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Participate in and prepare for depositions, hearings, and court appearances
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation
- Manage filings and procedural steps consistent with Delaware court rules and practices
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex commercial issues
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to Delaware courts
- Admitted to the Delaware Bar (required)
- Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Strong academic background with JD from an accredited law school
- Experience with judicial clerkships is a plus
- Familiarity with Delaware Court of Chancery, Superior Court, and federal court procedures is strongly preferred
Compensation:
- Salary range: $235,000 – $305,000, depending on experience
