Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist with expertise in 5-axis operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC machines with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machining centers, including performing machine adjustments and troubleshooting controllers, machines, and processes.
- Interpret blueprint specifications to select tools and set appropriate feeds and speeds.
- Inspect machined parts using precision hand tools to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to production schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and machines.
- Monitor and re-order tools as necessary.
- Lift and handle materials up to 70 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in CNC 3 & 4-axis milling setup and operations.
- Aerospace industry background preferred.
