Key Responsibilities
- Setup and Operate Multi-axis CNC Milling machines (Haas) for efficient and accurate production.
- Machine complex parts to exact specifications and tight tolerances.
Setup & Operation
- Perform machine setup, including loading programs, tool changes, and adjustments.
- Operate CNC milling machines and ensure optimal performance across production runs.
- Apply knowledge of speeds and feeds for a variety of materials to achieve high-quality results.
Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with the Quality Department to verify proper procedures for part measurement and inspection.
- Utilize precision measuring tools to inspect and ensure parts meet required specifications.
- Review and confirm the accuracy of production documents and material compliance with specifications.
Technical Proficiency
- Demonstrate strong skills in interpreting and working from mechanical drawings.
- Apply basic mathematical skills to solve machining challenges effectively.
- Troubleshoot and optimize processes for efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC Milling machines, with a focus on Haas equipment preferred.
- Experience in setting up and running multi-axis CNC machines.
- Strong understanding of precision measuring equipment and machining techniques.
- Excellent ability to interpret mechanical drawings and work with tight tolerances.
- Knowledge of material types and machining parameters, including speeds and feeds.
