Commercial Litigation Paralegal
Our client is a leading mid-sized law firm with offices around the tri-state and Florida. They are currently seeking a Full-time Commercial Litigation Paralegal with at least 5 years of litigation experience. The right candidate will be familiar with and have experience in the discovery process, cite-checking/Sherardizing and E-Filing in federal & state courts. If they have additional experience in administration (overseeing some paralegals and handling that admin), huge plus!
Responsibilities Include:
- Drafts cover letters and other correspondence.
- Organizes, manages and updates client files/pleadings (electronic and paper copies).
- Indexes and summarizes documents and depositions.
- Performs basic legal and factual research (including electronic and paper copies).
- Discovery and substantive motion support, such as drafting and preparing, as commensurate with skill set
Requirements:
- At least 5 years relevant experience.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work with large document intensive cases.
- Proficient in Lexis, Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel and ADOBE Acrobat Professional.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
Hybrid Hours:
Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm with the flexibility to work overtime when needed
Minimum 3 days a week in office
2 days a week remotely
The annualized salary range for this position is $65,000 to $90,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
