A leading behavioral health organization is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee patient care, lead the nursing team, and ensure high-quality behavioral health services. This role focuses on crisis stabilization, inpatient care, and outpatient treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and support the organization’s philosophy of care and patient outcomes.
- Supervise the nursing management team and oversee patient care.
- Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, referral sources, and employees.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports on nursing operations and performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current, active, and unencumbered nursing license in the state.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Health nursing.
- CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) required within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
Nice to Have
- Prior inpatient behavioral health leadership experience.
- Experience in chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and geriatric care.
Salary : $135,000 - $141,000
