Quality Engineer (job description)
· The Quality Engineer role requires creating and maintaining multiple aspects of a quality and production system including; inspection plans, statistical process controls, evaluating suppliers to ensure inbound and outbound product are acceptable.
· Additionally, they will support Design Engineering by executing or coordinating the performance testing and analysis of new and existing products to evaluate aspects such as: heat rise, vibration, noise generation, and component failure modes.
· Candidates should have a good understanding of statistics, with a reasonable level of knowledge of materials and mechanical design.
Required:
· Bachelors in Engineering or Applied Science
· 2-3 years minimum experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment required
· Excel, Minitab or other equivalent database skills for statistical analysis
· Understanding of data structure for (SQL, MySQL, Access) database formatting or Minitab architecture is required
· We encourage the candidate to submit a basic 3-4 row example that demonstrates proficiency.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
