Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction, or eligibility to sit for/waive into the next bar exam.

1 years of legal practice experience, preferably at a law firm.
- PhD (or MD with research experience) in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, microbiology, oncology, gene editing, gene therapy, or a related field.

USPTO registration or eligibility to become a member of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office bar.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively counsel clients on complex patent matters.
Key Responsibilities:

Draft and prosecute patent applications for life sciences clients, ensuring protection of groundbreaking innovations.

Conduct freedom-to-operate analyses, patentability assessments, and due diligence reviews.

Collaborate with scientific experts, inventors, and corporate teams to develop IP strategies that align with business objectives.

Advise clients on complex intellectual property issues, including portfolio management and patent enforcement.
