Job Description
- Design and analyze solar racking structures, including ground mounts and carports.
- Develop drawings and specifications for structural projects, considering materials, environmental conditions, and design requirements.
- Conduct stability assessments to ensure structures withstand wind, seismic activity, and snow loads.
- Collaborate with engineers and drafters to develop safe, innovative, and efficient structural designs.
- Perform on-site testing for preliminary soil capacity and inspect existing structures to identify issues or recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience in cold-formed steel design is preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, RISA 3D, STAAD Pro, Revu Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
