A leading business law team is seeking an experienced attorney to support its Life Sciences practice group. This role focuses on enhancing practice efficiency and knowledge management rather than direct client representation.
Position Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Develop, refine, and maintain contract templates and precedents for life sciences transactions
- Training & Development: Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver educational programs for attorneys
- Industry & Legal Monitoring: Track regulatory updates affecting biotech, medtech, digital health, and related sectors, preparing internal reports and practice updates
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to publications, conferences, and other industry engagements
- Practice Support: Assist attorneys by curating resources, templates, and best practices
- Innovation & Process Improvement: Participate in projects focused on knowledge management and technology integration
Qualifications:
- Licensed attorney with 3 years of life sciences transactions experience or 5 years in corporate/in-house legal roles within the sector
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects and collaborating across teams
- Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills
- Self-starter with a creative and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary ($220,000 - $350,000) based on experience and location
