Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct prior art searches for patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses
- Analyze scientific literature, patents, and technical documents to assist in patent prosecution and litigation strategy
- Draft patent applications and responses to office actions
- Advise attorneys on technical matters in preparation for depositions and legal proceedings
- Collaborate with legal teams to provide comprehensive IP strategy support
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field
- Broad scientific knowledge in organic, inorganic, or physical chemistry
- USPTO registration or eligibility to sit for the USPTO exam
- Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
