Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Massachusetts.
- 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience at a mid-size or large law firm.
- Proven experience drafting and arguing motions, as well as taking and defending depositions.
- Background in class action defense, financial services litigation, and/or bad faith insurance litigation is a plus.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with a strategic approach to case management.
- Ability to work independently and take the lead on key aspects of litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complex litigation matters across a range of industries, including business disputes, class actions, and financial services litigation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda with precision and strategic insight.
- Take and defend depositions, preparing clients and witnesses effectively.
- Argue motions in state and federal courts.
- Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.
- Manage discovery, including document production and review.
