Maintenance Technician – Injection Molding Equipment & Facility Support – 10hr days Mon-Thurs(1st shift)
- Min 2yrs of hands-on experience with plastic injection molding processes is required
- Min 2yrs as a maintenance technician in a plastic injection molding production setting is required
- Must be able to work four 10hr days Monday through Thursday on 1st shift
- Pay is up to $72,000 per year

This full time, permanent Maintenance Technician – Injection Molding Equipment & Facility Support opportunity has a four-day work week working ten hours per day. The employer is a smaller, growing, ISO certified, plastic manufacturer. Employees are treated well and tend to stay a long time. The plant is air conditioned.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance and repair tasks on all molding and support equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical breakdowns
- Document all completed PMs and repairs within the ERP Software system
- Complete minor electrical work such as motor replacement, fuse replacement, switches, etc
- Inspect and replace filters on HVAC units and injection molding machines
- Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
- Coordinating regular inspections and urgent repair services with external vendors
- Working ten-hour days Monday through Thursday on first shift
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and fixing pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and basic electrical systems
- Negotiating contracts with service providers
- Strong attention to details and problem-solving skills
- Possess the willingness to work ten-hour days Monday through Thursday on first shift
- A solid work history
- A US citizen or possess a green card
- A residence within a 45-minute drive
