Position: NDT FPI Inspector (Level II)
Shift: 1st | Hours: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Our client, a leader in the aerospace manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a skilled Level II NDT FPI Inspector to support non-destructive testing processes and ensure the airworthiness of aircraft components.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) using test panels in accordance with customer specifications.

Conduct inspections using black light (UV) technology to detect surface discontinuities.

Clean, sterilize, and dry components to meet inspection prep standards.

Follow job travelers to ensure accurate FPI preparation and execution.

Identify and mark discontinuities per inspection standards and procedures.

Complete inspections following detailed guidelines in applicable technical manuals.

Maintain daily checks on precision measuring instruments used in inspections.

Accurately record inspection results and maintain proper documentation.

Participate in continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 3 years experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing.

Proficient in blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

Certification in Level II NDT (FPI) preferred.
