Our client, a small Houston area law office has an immediate need for an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to join their fast-paced office on a part time basis. Ideal candidate will be experienced in Probate, Estate Planning, Family Law or Real Estate. This small office needs a team player, someone willing to wear many hats. This firm offers a very flexible schedule, 25 to 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- File applications with the court and manage the file from start to finish, including billing.
- E-filing and billing.
- Attorney time entry.
- Client contact.
- Set up a case file, organize and maintain it.
Requirements:
- 2 years of Probate or Estate Planning experience required. Family Law and Real Estate experience are a plus.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated, takes pride and ownership in work product.
- Software skills needed in Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook), LexisNexis, File & Serve, Adobe, and Clio billing software.
