This full time, permanent Machine Repair Factory Maintenance Supervisor is at an employee-owned, debt-free machined metal product job shop. The company has consistent growth and has not had a layoff since 2008. Employee tenure is ten years as the employees are valued and treated like family. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Establish and enhance the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metric to optimize machine uptime and performance.
- Offer direction and support to the machine repair department employees on a day-to-day basis.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts, focusing on cost reduction, inventory management, and other operational needs.
- Allocate resources effectively to support operations and ensure smooth machine repair operations.
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- A high school diploma or Associate’s degree in business, or a comparable qualification.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience demonstrating expertise.
- Proven experience in managing employee performance.
- A solid work history
- A US citizen or possess a green card
- A residence within 45-minutes
