Job Description
- Represent clients in immigration, criminal defense, traffic matters, and occasionally family law and personal injury cases.
- Handle some daily court appearances, often virtual, with varied schedules.
- Conduct client intakes, consultations, and ongoing communication to manage expectations.
- Review and manage discovery, case files, and related documentation.
- Draft and file legal complaints and obtain necessary records, such as medical documents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive legal support.
- Participate in on-the-job training to further develop your legal skills.
Qualifications
- Active bar license in New Jersey OR must be close to being barred (relocation assistance available).
- Bilingual proficiency is preferred but not required.
- Recent law school graduates or attorneys with limited experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
