Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager – Civil Engineer to lead and oversee land development projects. This role is ideal for a licensed Civil Engineer with 10 years of experience who excels in project management, technical expertise, and team leadership. The right candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, exceptional client management skills, and a passion for business development.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership:

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex land development projects.
• Manage project teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Coordinate with municipalities, clients, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Act as the main client contact, ensuring expectations are met throughout the project.

Technical Expertise:

• Oversee site grading, drainage, roadway, utility, and structural design.
• Ensure all projects comply with local, state, federal, and international codes and safety regulations.
• Utilize advanced engineering software like Civil 3D and GIS to develop high-quality designs.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle engineering challenges.
• Stay updated on industry trends and integrate innovative technologies into workflows.

Team Development:

• Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
• Provide technical leadership and career development support to team members.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert insights to enhance project success.

Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s project portfolio.
• Collaborate on proposals, participate in client presentations, and help secure new projects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Professional Engineering - PE license required).
• 10 years of civil engineering experience with a focus on land development.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage large-scale projects.
• Strong technical expertise in civil engineering principles and best practices.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• Experience with business development, including proposals and client presentations.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
