The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:
- Design and develop tooling and fixtures using Inventor, ILogic, and AutoCAD Mechanical.
- Collaborate with maintenance, manufacturing, and contractors on tool design and improvements.
- Analyze and enhance processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Evaluate tools, equipment, and processes, providing recommendations to management.
- Support manufacturing by troubleshooting issues and driving continuous improvement projects.
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- 3 years of Tool and Die and/or Tool Design experience
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot equipment and processes
- A solid work history
- A US citizen or possess a green card
- A residence within 45-minutes
