This group advises an impressive array of clients, including some of the world’s largest trademark portfolio holders, on a wide range of trademark and copyright matters. With a practice that spans domestic and international jurisdictions, this team is at the forefront of innovation in trademark and copyright law.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in New York.
- 3-5 years of substantive experience in trademark and copyright matters, including litigation.
- Interested in expanding on their litigation experience to integrate more counseling and contentious work.
- Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a broad range of trademark and copyright matters, including clearance, prosecution, and litigation.
- Represent clients in TTAB opposition and cancellation proceedings, trademark and copyright infringement actions, and related contentious matters.
- Manage large-scale multinational trademark clearance projects, providing strategic and practical advice tailored to clients’ needs.
- Draft and negotiate agreements related to intellectual property rights, including licensing and coexistence agreements.
- Offer thoughtful and innovative counsel on sophisticated trademark and copyright issues for a diverse client base.
