The anticipated base salary range for this position is $78,000-$95,000. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Sports Physical Therapist to join our growing healthcare team in Riverdale Park, United States. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and enhance their quality of life through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Evaluate patients' conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Perform manual therapy techniques and teach therapeutic exercises
- Monitor and document patient progress using electronic medical records
- Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy techniques and best practices
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and healthcare regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage patient caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality care standards
- Graduate degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current state licensure to practice physical therapy
- Valid CPR certification
- Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription
- Proficiency in orthopedic physical therapy and sports rehabilitation
- Experience with McKenzie method and other evidence-based treatment approaches
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong documentation and EMR system proficiency
- Knowledge of current rehabilitation protocols and best practices
- Comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Risk assessment and patient safety management skills
- Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic setting preferred
- Staff supervision experience preferred
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers
