Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Impact Staffing International (ISI) is looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Architect in Dallas, Texas with 12 years of professional experience in the Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, or Pharmaceutical industry. This position is responsible for designing and securing technology solutions that align with strategic objectives. This role involves developing security architecture standards, enhancing IT/OT roadmaps, and ensuring risk mitigation through improved documentation and standardization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system architecture and OT security, translating business needs into scalable, secure solutions while contributing to research and development. They will collaborate with business and technology leaders to align cybersecurity initiatives, improve risk registers, and develop mitigation strategies. Key responsibilities include leading security architecture standards, conducting architecture reviews, resolving IT/OT security challenges, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The Architect will also stay updated on emerging technologies, mentor team members, and engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Additionally, they will shape strategic cybersecurity initiatives, refine security roadmaps, and effectively communicate architectural designs across technical and non-technical teams. This position is a full-time role, going in the office Monday-Friday 8 AM-5PM.
Required Skills and Background:
- 8 years of IT Infrastructure and Security
- 4 years in an Architecture function
- Expertise in developing and implementing security architecture frameworks, guidelines, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, security best practices for cloud environments, and Zero Trust architecture, including least privilege access, micro-segmentation, and continuous verification.
- Ability to assess technology options, lead architecture reviews, and resolve complex IT/OT security challenges.
- Experience identifying security risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Ability to stay updated on industry trends, assess new technologies, and create risk-aware adoption plans.
- Proven ability to engage with stakeholders, align security initiatives with business goals, and collaborate with executives on cybersecurity roadmaps.
- Experience guiding and mentoring security and technical teams on architecture principles and best practices.
- Strong skills in presenting and communicating architectural designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Security or related field or a combination of experience and education.

Salary : $165,000 - $195,000
